Section 1 The founding era

By FE (Foundation Era) 923, the Federation of Foundation had conquered two thirds of the galaxy. The remaining oppositions included the Kingdom of Daxind, the Rhein Empire, the Principality of Alatap, the Rigel Federation, the trans-Nebula Kingdoms and the Tyrone Empire. The Foundationer Navy won the Battle of Alatap. The United Fleet of Daxind and Alatap was defeated. The Foundationers captured the Planet of Alatap, thus controlled the Daxindian Rift. After the defeat, Daxindians had no strongholds to stop the Foundationer Navy to approach Rossem and Daxind. So it surrendered. After several battles, the Foundationer Navy laboriously advanced into the Orionis Region and the Sirius Region, capturing the trans-Nebula Kingdoms and the Rigel Federation. It had been rather clear that the Federation of Foundation would surely reunify the galaxy, but the Rhein Empire refused to surrender. The Rebels, setting their base on the planet of Symnax, planned an armed uprising against the Rhein Empire. The Foundationer Fleet and the Rebel Fleet besieged the planet of Rhein. In FE 925, the Emperor of Rhein was executed by the Rebels. The Rebelling planet of Symnax surrendered to the Federation. On January 1st, FE 926, the Mayor of Terminius, the General Secretary of the Federation of Foundation Racheal Pulvor was elected president. She then reformed the Federation into the Galactic Republic and changed the year FE 926 into GRE 1. However, in GRE 6, planets in the Inner Rim Region, the Sirius Region, the Fier Region and Arcturus Region formed the Confederation of independent planets and rebelled against the republic. The republic was nearly overthrown. But under the leadership of the Democratic Party and the president, the rebellion was finally suppressed in GRE 15. Racheal resigned though she could probably be reelected a third time. Her successor, Harry Gilbert, improved the autonomous degree of the Republic. The republic was reformed into a de facto federation.

There were nine main member states, including the Kingdom of Daxind, the Federation of Solar System, the Korell Republic, the Kingdom of Anacreon, the Kingdom of Smyrno, the Kingdom of Gonum, the Kingdom of Locries, the Grand Duchy of Askan and the Duchy of Alatap. It accepted the Constitution of GRE 21. The galaxy was kept in peace in the following centuries.
